glass. Just add water in The Beer Machine to the Beer Mix. (Other beer mix preparations may be used
according to the suppliers instructions for use. Call their customer service department at 1-800-663-BREW
for further assistance regarding the use and selection of other beer mixes.)
Here are the beer mixes they have: American Lager, American Ale, American
Brown Ale, American Blond, American Pilsner Light, Honey Beer, Canadian Light, Canadian
Red Lager, Canadian Dark Ale, Light Lager, Golden Ale, Dutch Lager, Golden Light, Porter, Pilsner Light,
Pale Ale, Scotch Ale.
The Beer Mix contains the brewmaster's carefully blended mixture of vienna, munich, crystal, carmel
and roasted malts. The blending process is part of the "brewer's art" which contributes to the
distinctive flavor to a particular beer. Each preparation has been crafted step by step in the
brewhouse through skillfully controlled temperature graduations until ready for fermentation. When
completed this is known as the "brewer's wort". However, instead of fermenting the "brewer's wort",
they remove the water and add the particular blend of hop to provide you a sealed package in a powdered
mixture that needs only the addition of water and the brewer's yeast (separately packaged and included
with each Beer Mix) to complete the brewing process in The Beer Machine.
I personally have Mr. Beer and it takes about 4 weeks to make beer that way. The Beer Machine makes beer
in 7-10 days, with another week of refridgeration if you want to "lager" it. I like mine lagered.
